Aquarium of the Bay

The next day we visited the Aquarium of the Bay.

While the aquarium was pretty small, their setup is really neat — most of the main floor is a long tunnel where you’re surrounded by a giant tank.

After the aquarium, we walked over to Fisherman’s Wharf for some fresh seafood. My mom said looking at all the fish was making her hungry.

On our way back to BART, we stopped by a Starbucks. The guy taking my order saw my IGN sweatshirt and put “IGN” as my name on the cup. Yay for cool fans!

We went to visit Napa Valley for the 1st time.

We took an aerial tram up a hill to Sterling Vineyards, a winery that overlooks Napa Valley, and walked around with a glass of wine. I liked their Pinot Gris and Malvasia Blanca.

Golden Gate Bridge

We went to see the Golden Gate Bridge. There was a bit of construction around the bridge since they are preparing for it’s 75th anniversary this year.

A coworker told me about the “best place” to see the Golden Gate Bridge, so we went to check it out. It was a bit cloudy that day, so the picture didn’t turn out as well. Nevertheless, the view was amazing!┬áBehind us is the SF skyline.
